2009 – What does your network look like?

Here at RiverMuse engineering we have been spending a lot of time this month in testing our upcoming release of the core product.   We are very pleased with performance testing but certainly not complacent.

From the start we have build the software to be both functional and reliable, no hobby code and no gimmicks, it will do “what it says on the tin”.  Our heritage in large enterprises and the service provider markets means we understand that performance under load and in challenging environments is one of the keys of sucess.

So here is today’s question – what does your network look like?  What scale and performance issues are you experiencing today and where do you need to be tomorrow?  Is your issue throughput per second or the number of devices managed (not that they are mutually exclusive of course).  We would like to hear from you……
